INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE OF APPLIED KINESIOLOGY
The World of Applied Kinesiology
2019 ICAK International Conference
“A Brave New World”
March 22-24, 2019 | Brisbane, Australia
Welcome to the International College of Applied Kinesiology (ICAK), the original professional organization that founded and continues scientific and observation-based Applied Kinesiology (AK). Applied Kinesiology is a valuable diagnostic method used by licensed healthcare professionals. ICAK is responsible for the education, standards and certification of the global community of Applied Kinesiology practitioners.
Applied Kinesiology is a safe and non-invasive diagnostic system using muscle testing as a tool for evaluating neurological function. Only doctors and healthcare practitioners who are regulated by licensing bodies can be certified to include Applied Kinesiology in their patient care. The methodology focuses primarily on neuromuscular function as it relates to the structural, chemical and neurological regulatory systems in the body. Muscle testing assesses the impact of the nervous system on patient health, helping AK practitioners look for the source of disfunction in the balance of the sensory system with the motor system.
